Quakers Take Care of Bryn Athyn 6-0 at Home to Finish a Stellar First Half of the Season

Quakers shutout CSCHC opponent Bryn Athyn 6-0 at home to finish the first half of the season with a record of 12-1 and first place in league.

Quakers capitalized early on Bryn Athyn mistakes, scoring two powerplay goals back to back with 3 minutes of each other in the first period. Freshman AJ Moshyedi struck first followed by Ethan Abraham to put the Quakers up 2-0. From there the Quakers never looked back in a game that showed the toughness and grit against a physical team.

Abraham scoring once more in the first period, followed by two more goals in the second from Captain Hayden Stephan, and one in third by Zach Qain to complete the sweep of Lions on the season and provide goalie Xander Kostelnik with another much deserved shutout.

In what can only be described as an amazing start to their season the Quakers find themselves 12-1 overall, first place in the CSCHC, and nationally ranked 11th overall in the southeastern region but the job is not done. The Quakers will play five more games after the holiday break to finish out this incredible season starting with their hometown rival the Drexel Dragons on 1/20/23 at 9:10 PM.
